Our favorite ‘socialist’ Bernie Sanders is finger-pointing now at the Democratic “establishment” and sounds for all the world like his unimaginative GOP brethren.  Like each of them, he does not seem one for self-examination. If for a minute, he was able to see the forest for his own special selfish tree, he would realize it is he who failed the DNC, not the other way around.

Quite simply, Bernie had the attention of the Trumped masses for almost two years and failed to call out – loudly and on no uncertain terms – the misogyny and fake HRC news stories and hate displayed among his supporters. He had a big, crucial, pivotal moment when he was in an amazingly strong position to put a stop outrageous conspiracy theories, Flynn stories, & mocking, offensive, inciting, off-base tweets and rallying cries by Trump. He was the one person that the WWC, the lazy-minded, the fake news sharers, might have listened to.

But he ignored his power and position in this regard, focusing on his own trajectory w/o concern for the big picture or the obvious & immediate danger of the electorate’s spoiled, violent, and anti-fact mentality. In many ways, he is not unlike Green Party candidates who would rather sell their souls and the planet to climate deniers than coalesce behind Dem incrementalists who understand the need for pragmatism when attempting to move an entire nation (with a GOP in it!!) forward. He and the lovely Liz Warren obviously achieve great personal glory when clamoring for real progress. Their voices are valuable. But reality includes a GOP controlled Congress, an ignorant, violent, careless electorate, gerrymandering, voter suppression, and foreign interference in our (not so sovereign) elections.

As for his grassroots fundraising pontifications, yes, little donations from little people are great. But Dems are already aware of this and utilize this. Big donations from big people are ALSO great. For Bernie to fingerpoint and Monday morning quarterback is useless, selfish, and discounts the massive turnout for HRC and for the particular obstacles she faced.
